At Java Planet, we stand behind the quality of our coffee and accessories. We want every customer to enjoy a great experience — especially first-time buyers who are discovering our roasts for the first time.
Because we roast fresh to order and cannot resell returned coffee, our refund policy is limited to first-time orders of 1LB bags only.
First-Time Coffee Try Guarantee
If you're new to Java Planet and trying our coffee for the first time, you're covered.
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on up to two (2) opened 1LB bags from your first order only. If you don’t love what you tried, we’ll refund you — no hassle.
Please note: We do not offer refunds on 5LB bags or on future orders. Try a 1LB size first to ensure it’s the right fit for your taste.
Exclusions:
Accessories in their original unused condition can be returned to us for a full refund within 30 days.
If Something’s Wrong, We’ll Make It Right
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if we sent the wrong product, contact us right away — we’ll send a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Your satisfaction is our priority.

If approved, we’ll provide return instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless we made a mistake.
Once we receive your returned item (if applicable), your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
If you have issues with your shipment it is best to contact the carrier (USPS or UPS). You should have received an email or text with your tracking number. If not please contact us and we can provide this to you. The carrier is best equipped to handle any problems that may arise on the delivery of your package.
We are not responsible for and will not refund on packages that were not delivered due to a wrong or undeliverable address provided to us for shipping.
If your order was eligible for free shipping, we will choose the carrier and shipping method for your shipment. If you need to have a specific carrier or shipping method please contact us at jpcustomerservice@help.jporganiccoffee.com with this information – additional charges may apply.
Java Planet Organic Coffee provides a subscription service. By subscribing to our service, you have confirmed that you accept our Terms of Service. Your membership will automatically renew on a recurring basis at which time your credit card will be charged automatically for the subscription products, including applicable shipping and handling fees until you cancel your membership. You may cancel your membership at anytime by logging in to your account, selecting Subscriptions, then clicking cancel next to the item.
